Quintessence of the zeal of his domain
No one knew Ilorin better,
His blood rekindled by the mention of Ilorin fa
When some cried for Dogo’s un-choosing
Went he, Bode Saadu, the abode of patience
With homage to Sulu, the Emir of Time,
Legendary Sulu Gambari, was the Emir of Time
Dogo Bowed as wanted by God, in humility and in agreement!
Whosoever was astonished, better not be now,
When Dogo took his turn,
Ilorin took to the streets with drums and songs
Celebrating the brothers who took their turn!
Sulu first, Dogo, next! Children of the same parents!
Sulu’s wife, the younger sister of Dogo, cousins in sainted wedlock!
